Hello all. Landing in a few days at Vancouver from the US after many months of waiting for an AL. Do we need to carry a certain amount of cash on landing? Or do we just show proof of funds from a recent bank statement from our country of residence like what we did for our EE application?

@crackMBA Really happy for you both! Is printing the updated CoPR part of the landing formalities for expired CoPR holders? Do I ask for one to be printed or the officers know to print it out for you?

I certainly hope not. If it was as soon as Monday next week, many of those who booked for next week's landing will need to make adjustments to our already booked quarantine place...if in fact, it pertains to first time settlers. At least, there should have been an official announcement of the...

I also saw this a day or two ago but still no effective date. It could possibly take a few weeks as the Ministers had stated previously.

Hi @ssi1990, I'm also planned to fly from Chicago. Which airlines did you take? I was looking into Alaska Air but wasn't sure about their experience with expired CoPRs with ALs. This is a really helpful post in my case.

That's how I interpreted that section within the AL. I hope someone going through this will share soon. Thanks for your reply.

@whyCorona for clarification, when this is mentioned in one's AL and generally that is the case, can one opt for the CoPR and PRV re-issuance if theirs was extended for one year?

Yes, hopefully, we will have clarification on this soon about connecting flights. Toronto is where my connecting flight would be and the destination is Vancouver.
