Alhamdulillah by grace of Almighty I received PPR today.

It has been 2 months since I received pre-arrival letter, heard nothing from them since. Decision is still in process in online portal. I've heard it typically doesn't take long after pre-arrival for DM and PPR. How long did it take for most people who got their PPR after pre-arrival letter? Thanks

That's terrible. The way IRCC handles applications is so wildly inconsistent. Is your visa office also in London?

Question: does LVO send AOR2 (confirmation that documents were received) to everyone? I submitted my application on Dec 31 2020, AOR1 (from CPC-Sydney) received on Feb 14, biometrics submitted and moved to LVO on Mar 1 (they still haven't requested medical).

On IRCC website it says they're currently finalizing applications that were submitted between May 26 and June 1, 2019. Is progress expected to speed up to clear the backlog or should those who submitted their application in Dec 2020 expect processing time of 18 months? This is very disheartening...

Those of you got AORs in Feb, did you get SA (spouse approval yet?). Most applications before got their SA in a few days after AOR, it's been 4 days and my spouse eligibility says it's still being reviewed. How long should I expect?
