    June 2023 - Citizenship Applications

I think it depends on other factors, such as how many times applicant has travelled outside Canada before the application date? if some applicant has travelled frequently then they have to carefully review the physical presence before proceeding further. I submitted on June 1st, no updates so far.

Seeing ENT specialist without Referral in Toronto?

From my experience GP are not that well equipped to diagnose and treat anything specific and this referral system is damn slow. Most of the referral have a wait of 2-3 months, looks like system is broken.

Seeing ENT specialist without Referral in Toronto?

@Naturgrl - I assume this is from personal experience. The treatment from my GP is not working out and I am thinking to ask for referral. Therefore, curious to know if wait times are really that long 9-12 months? :(

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

I know it looks unusual, that how they process only 1 application from the same envelope. Rest assured, they have processed all applications in your envelope. Most likely they would mailed your card also on the next day or so.

You meant the expiry date of COPR document? if Yes, they are usually linked to the expiry of medical test. However, for the inland applicants it doesn't matter because they have already landed via virtual landing.

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Expiry date is for the biometrics in my case it was linked to Work-permit expiry date. You can certainly apply for a PRTD while you are outside Canada. It is very risky to ask your friend to mail the PR card outside Canada. Better to look for in-person delivery by some close relative who can...

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

Yes, I received it recently so it is new format. It doesn't have date of issue and expiry only have Date and month, so it is very unclear or may be they have left it for the holder to calculate :).

PR card timeline (Etobicoke office only)

I have verified that PR card does not have year of expiry, I know it is confusing because it only says Date and Month. Please refer a sample image here :
