This is so annoying. So arbitrary. There doesn’t seem to be any rules as to who gets remed and who extension.

Looks like some people got it extended. Any rule as to which would be the case?

US based applicant here. Last update Medicals passed Jan 2021. At this point, I think they’ll either extend Medicals or ask for redo. I doubt they’d move quick enough to process and issue COPR with 2, max 3 months left. Thoughts?

I am also an applicant but from what I understand, letters need to clearly state job duties (basically copy them from the job description on IRCC website).

Anybody here know if gift deed (let's say from father) needs to be accompanied by bank statement from father's account as well? Or just the gift deed itself?

Hello. Could any of you please let me know if when getting a gift deed from a parent, do you have to include THEIR (the parents') bank statement, account information etc. too? or is it that all you need from your parent is just a notarized gift deed? Thanks in advance

Appreciate your help. I finally did hear back from my doctor. It turns out specific tests (in my case HIV and Syphilis) in some states do not show online regardless of results due to HIPAA and other regulations. You're right, you can access them but have to really prove that it's you.

As a bit of a hypochondriac, this isn’t good news for me. Can you see the status of upfront medical BEFORE applying or do you have to apply first and then see the status for medical? Thanks again

Thanks a lot. I looked up the duration though. It seems like it's only valid for 2 months. I only aksed if state checks required since it says on the doc that it doeesn't preclude state records.

Is the FBI IDHS the only background check quired or do they also ask for state-level ones, if you have lived in multiple states? Also, how long after it is issues is teh IDHS from FBI valid? Thanks in advance!
