    Pointers for New Applicants

Exactly. Lol. The sad thing though is that the people who cry about "wasted federal dollars" are mostly the people who went through the process and are now citizens so they really don't care. I suggest unconventional ways but you can only win and not lose as worst which could happen is IRCC will...

    Pointers for New Applicants

LOL. Great essay but most of it is PURE garbage. Even if CBSA records are erroneous, that's the primary record IRCC uses to compare and establish the physical presence. It's common sense imo to have your application consistent with it so you don't miss anything and above all, if you are not...

    Pointers for New Applicants

No prob. It's the certified canadian criminal record check which IRCC requests from some applicants. If they didn't ask for it during your PR application, you most likely don't need it...

    Pointers for New Applicants

Well good for you. I am posting for new applicants who want to try my recommendations and experience for themselves so this is not a play by book method so good luck to you but let others make their own decisions. Lol

    Pointers for New Applicants

Probably to reduce the extra work as the workflow most likely triggers an entry/exit request from CBSA automatically. It's a deterrent but I am 99.99% certain it has zero impact on application processing time. Again, it's my view drawn from my personal experience and a few people I have given...

    Pointers for New Applicants

Same as when you call the message plays "the agent doesn't know more than what your application status shows online" while I'm reality they have a lot more visibility than most people would think. Again, it's not a debate. I shared what I think works and it's up to the individual to do it or...

    Pointers for New Applicants

Yes. If you provide your UCI(no application number needed) and let them know that you are applying for citizenship and want to submit the criminal record check, they will do it. Once you receive the FP results in mail, attach the original to your paper application or scan and upload for online...

    Calgary applications

I can confirm that Calgary-IRCC is back in action now so expect movement soon. Not only tests but oaths are being scheduled too now. Remember, good things come to people who wait.

    Pointers for New Applicants

Haven't been active on the forum lately but figured I'll share a few pointers for new applicants. Please note these are my recommendations and might help your application move faster but use your own discretion. - If you had to provide criminal record check(FP) during your PR processing, you...

    University Canada West Visa Refusal

Age has no factor but the education you seek should be a progression and not go backwards. I think there's more to your story, are you trying to immigrate or study and return back? Your application needs more convincing as to your ties to your country, etc

Thanks for your kind words @rajkamalmohanram . I don't think I ever was on the tracker as I don't like sharing exact dates. Lol. But my application is now DM and await oath which I am sure is just around the corner. All the best to you too!

Hey everyone, just letting you know that I won't be as active on the forum anymore and apologies if I haven't been able to reply to questions lately in the threads which were addressed to me. There are so many helpful souls around here with extensive knowledge and solutions but if you think I'm...

About to take the test, when I checked my webcam I realized something

Yes. If you don't like it, you can play around in your webcam settings or the app you are using and disable mirroring. Might wanna check this out: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/webcam-image-shown-in-reverse-or-upside-down

    October 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Just to reiterate, there is no such thing as RCMP notes which come from GCMS as RCMP does NOT have access to the case management system. If you have not provided fingerprints and submit a request to RCMP you will get a response that no records were found, if you have submitted FP to CCRTIS, they...

About to take the test, when I checked my webcam I realized something

It's shows a mirror image because you have the mirror option selected somewhere but when you take a shot, it saves as normal. So, you are good.

2020 applicants with Background verification- In Progress

Not sure either. I would always add this to the message "Please provide any/all information relevant to my citizenship application and also case notes/comments from GCMS". This leaves them with no option but to release everything which is releasable. @rajkamalmohanram is absolutely right. Lol...

    Citizenship Renunciation

Anyone who might have recently renounced American citizenship would like to share the experience from start to finish please? How painful is the process? How much time did it take and was it worth it? What's their to lose by renunciation? Any and all pointers are welcome. Thanks!

2020 applicants with Background verification- In Progress

Not sure what you mean by brief but CBSA notes has exactly the same amount of pages as the CIC report and comes with less redacted information. CSIS information is brief about 7-10 pages roughly and very minimal information if that's what you are referring to.
