Yes, this is the one! :) By reading the instruction, it seems that if someone receives the PGWP recently with one year (i.e. expiring next year) he will not qualify for this extension. Lol :(

Just read some posts online saying that Ottawa has a new policy coming out to allow international students to extend their PGWP to another 18 months. Not sure if this have been formally announced yet. Waiting for more details to come.

Is job offer not mandatory to re-enter Canada now with a post graduate work permit? :oops: As long as we can prove that we normally live in Canada? But what do we need to prove this?

Then I don’t know why your case will take so long. From the post we can tell the more straightforward cases only take around 3months to process. Or do you have any dependants?
