January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Isn't a CoPR the same as PR card (while its valid)? Quote from the CoPR: I am pleased to advise you that your application for permanent residence in Canada is now complete. Congratulations! You are now a permanent resident of Canada! This letter constitutes an official document issued by the...

January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hindsight is 20/20, believe me I know. However, going from the officers email even waiting til it was "finalized" wouldn't help here. The problem seems to be what PNP considers "long-term employment". It seems the two years I worked wasn't long enough. How long is? The PNP leave it vague...

That's all it says. I'm not delaying, I live in a tiny town and its difficult to arrange time with photographer etc. especially in these COVID times. I'm doing it as fast as I can. Not yet.

Ok I will. One of the reasons I left is because my job started reducing my working hours the last few weeks and it was really difficult financially.

Good terms as far as I know. But either way, is this against the PNP rules to leave? I worked my job for two years. And I'm staying in the province (I love it here!!!)

I need advice. PNP has contacted me about leaving my job, even though I have PR. They say "PNP is meant to fill positions long-term, not only for the permanent residency processing timeframe". When I got PR IRCC said I could work and live anywhere inside the nominating province which I am...

My work permit (with restrictions) runs out in 3 months, how do I renew?

Thanks for the info! And its okay to change employers (I used to have a condition on my work permit that made me work for only one specific employer)? And move around my province if I wish?

My work permit (with restrictions) runs out in 3 months, how do I renew?

I got my CoPR in the email this week. Do I still have to renew my work permit? Also, does CoPR remove the conditions that I've been bound to, like can I change employers, move to a new town, etc.? (I'll be staying inside the nominating province, of course)

I asked the representative and apparently there is nothing on gckey about "Decision Made" or anything else. I guess ECAS and GCKEY just don't update at the same time?

Yesterday (Saturday) my ECAS status changed to "Decision Made". I asked my representative what it said in their portal and it doesn't show "Decision Made" there but it does say "100% completed". Good? Bad??
