Received email with CoPR today! Approximately 11 days after getting approval in account. I got a GU on Friday before getting the email. I also noticed that someone from the Government of Canada checked my LinkedIn profile. I'm guessing that they wanted to verify if I'm in Canada? VO: Etobicoke

For those who received the CoPR email/letter recently, did you get any GU beforehand? I'm still waiting for the CoPR letter (9 days since I was approved in Portal) but I got a GU today. Does anyone know what that means?

I must have missed the previous GU in my account. I called IRCC and she mentioned all steps are passed! No CoPR yet.

*****UPDATE****** AOR: September 4, 2020 NOC: 2161 Called IRCC after seeing GU this morning. All steps are passed! :D Eligibility: Passed Criminality: Passed Security: Passed. No COPR yet. The lady mentioned that it's Final decision is pending. Does anybody know what that means?

On January 26, 2021 when I called, the guy said Eligibility is Recommended Pass. Today when I called, the lady said it's In Progress. Then when I mentioned that the status was previously Recommended pass, she said that it's still Recommended pass. I think that 'Recommended pass' is still...

Does GU update mean that you guys are receiving fake updates via Email? Or is just 'updated' when you login but with no actual change?
