Hello everyone, i hereby confirm that post 18th march 2020 COPR can officially travel to canada with the exemption under extended family member. I just landed on 11th march 2021 and writing this post from my hotel.

I brother once you receive your copr and PR Visa, then you should send them email and you will get exemption. I got my copr and pr visa and within 1 day i got exemption.

Hey Man I got the approval as well, but just to be sure did you actually land in Canada validated your permanent residency under this exemption? let me know your experience on the border.

I am not sure whether the delay is from Abu Dhabi or IRCC office in London who did the process or from where... But this is ridiculous, Asking someone's passport is a huge deal and how come embassy can keep it for so long without a strong justification.. I did email them twice through webform...

I really dont know... like you want to stamp it tell me or you dont want to stamp it still tell me but this is lnsane when did you get your passport back?

Actually I have a blood sibling living in canada who is a Permanent Resident, so I can travel. However, even if I can't travel, atleast they can stamp the visa for me. I mean I have never heard from anywhere that the embassy has kept the Passport for 6-7 weeks? specially for a PR case..

I submitted my Passport on 28th September 2020 to VFS Kuwait, Reached the IRCC office on 7th October 2020 and is under process. It has been more than 4 weeks in their office and no update...I am going crazy
