Congratulations! I’m June 2020 outside and done biometric in February 2022. It’s been 5 months but still there’s no update. My employer even asked me if they could do anything to help but I really have no idea. Hopefully they work faster for all applications.

It’s literally unfair for all of us but it’s not about single or not. I’m single and many out there are single too and we don’t have any updates either. At this point I don’t really know how they work... I don’t understand why they kept us waiting so long like this.

Exactly! For now just to get work permit why it takes so long like this. It’ really frustrated though and many of outsiders lose this job already cause the employers can’t wait that long.

I’m a June applicant outside Canada. I can see some June applicants inside Canada are already received permanent AOR so you mean they are now working on June applications, right?

I’m a June applicant too but outside Canada, received 2 times temporary file numbers in March and April. And no more updates yet I’m glad to see your progress so I hope mine will get some updates soon either!

same here! I’m a June applicant too but outside Canada. That info on the website doesn’t sound right to me either and it makes me confused at the same time.

As far as I know it depends on cases they might either ask for additional documents or give us biometric and medical request

Have you received both Temporary number and UCI? Cause I only received one email from them and it only have UCI number while my friend who is July applicants received three emails which is the same info. But the second and the third one has added Temporary number. By the way I am June applicants.

Nope! I saw a lot of people complain there and they just ignore it. They chose to reply some of them.

You don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to include him with your application. But you will not be able to sponsor him to get PR in the future.
