TRV- Insufficient funds for parent? I will sponsor visit. What if I don't include parent's bank statement?

No I didn't. I just used my bank statement and that of my spouse. Since we were doing the inviting, it was enough and she got the visitor visa.

Does property in the name of one of the deceased parent holds good if shown as strong ties back home?

I'm not saying it's not possible to get approved in the current circumstances; it certainly is. However, the things I have listed will strengthen her case. I've seen others with parents in similar situations as yours who were declined a visa. But it's always good to hope.

Does property in the name of one of the deceased parent holds good if shown as strong ties back home?

Sorry for your loss; losing a parent is tough. Was there a will left by your father? If yes, try to get the property transferred to her name before she applies; it strengthens her case for ties to home country. If possible, do a valuation too. Does she have any children under 18? Pension? That...

Thanks @legalfalcon for replying. My COPR is valid until mid Feb 2021, issued in Nov 2020. Not in essential work, no family in Canada, not from visa-exempt country. Can you please clarify who needs or can obtain an authorization letter? Is it those with expired COPR who need an extension, or...

    COPR and coronavirus

Hi kdr91 Sorry to hear about your passport. Mine took about 2 months to arrive too. I know abbreviations here can be confusing. AL means Authorization Letter. Typically, people send an RTT (Ready to Travel) webform with key details such as quarantine plan, flight and accomodation reservation...

    COPR and coronavirus

Hi kdr91 I know people who were not exempt (no family in Canada, not in essential work) but landed successfully and being allowed entry, as long as they had valid COPR and quarantine plan. Do you have any updates on this? Did the IRCC agents you spoke with say you have to wait for AL after...
