Never checked that, honestly :) Yes, I have the same "UKR" (which is Country code) as a place of birth in my passport despite the fact that I was born before 1991 :)

I also don't see any issue here. I guess they put COB (Country of Birth) according to the current passport. I was born in Ukraine when it was a part of USSR but have "UKR" (even not Ukraine) in both "Nationality" and "COB" on my PR card.

Sent our photos in a regular envelop without tracking by Canada Post. For me it doesn't make sense to spend money on expensive delivery services knowing that fact that your mail will be in Etobicoke IRCC's queue for next 4 months until they open it.

Thank you! 1. No, it wasn't. Background check has been "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." since AOR and never changed. Yesterday, when application was approved, it was transformed to "January 26, 2021 Your background check was...

My application has been approved today! COPR document IDs are in profile. I think we will get our access to portal for submitting photos for PR cards soon. I've been following this thread from my AOR date (October 14, 2020), so want to say thank you everyone who shared their info here. Here it...

I'm CEC Inland with 2 dependents. AOR October 14, 2020. Place of living: Toronto. Today I received the following email from CIC-Etobicoke-Landings (I assume it's Etobicoke VO): I think that's because I included daughter's new passport into PR application thus there is no proof of landing in...

I also see that my application's status is Application/Profile Updated, however when I click on check full applicaiton status, it doesn't work - bad gateway.

I wish it was true but, unfortunately, it's not. Processing fee doesn't include biometrics fee. Anyway as biometric exempts we are still lucky enough to not pay biometrics fee :)

Sorry, but have you paid for biometrics to get a refund? If you are excempt, like me, you are not requested to pay for them.

According to the current situation with covid-19 you have all chances to be stuck in your home country (if it's not U.S.) for a long time.
