Just keep waiting. You will get your AOR eventually. It will come in the form of an email to the sponsor (not PA), so look out for that. Then the PA can link the application, as well as the OWP, to their account using the link application function in the portal. There is no point trying to link...

Did you ask for your temporary file number? They should be able to provide that and if not then there's something wrong.

We called last week and they said it was still processing. But just today now it's been deemed complete! We can finally relax knowing it won't be getting returned.

For the automated message when you call and inquire about the status does it say anything different than when your application was received? I'm talking about before you connect with an agent. Thanks

You're not alone. We have not received the email either which is making my wife depressed. While the emails themselves don't mean anything, any kind of progress after waiting for so long gives a peace of mind. If you want to know your prospective file number you can probably call to ask.

Did they stop processing AORs? It seems there's been no progress in outland or inland for the most part the past week.

Yeah something is wrong at Mississauga. Outland applications are moving at breakneck speeds - a few in July have already received AOR. Compare that to inland they haven't even gotten past March at all yet. Seems the applications they were referring to in this news release...

You usually don't get OWP until shortly after AOR. They are still processing March applicants so I would not expect September ones to process until 2021. If you want to stay on the safe side you may want to apply to extend your visitor record again.

Is this true for those who have gotten the biometric fee letter and their AOR? I ask because we made a mistake on the IMM5406 in which we used the webform to submit the correction using the biometric fee letter application number. If they do end up being different numbers I'm wondering if...

I talked to an agent they advised to print out, hand sign, scan, and then submit through webform. We'll see if mine gets sent back, hopefully not.

What's with the slow updates? They said they were speeding up but it seems we're lucky to get even 1 update a day now on the spreadsheet.
