This is 100% true! Even if other people's experience is that background check or eligibility or pre-arrival is xxx days away from PPR, that doesn't mean it's the same for you. Our background check changed from NOT STARTED to COMPLETED. Which means they simply forgot to update the tracker I guess?

haha same with my PA, his passport has been submitted and the status on the tracker is still ongoing.:)

When I was only receiving ghost updates, I was obsessed with trying to understand what these mean. Am I closer to PPR? DM? PreA? I know no one knows for sure, but knowing that other people have experienced ghost updates and get PPR helps ease anxieties a bit.

Odd right? I've only talked to one other person who noticed the same, same country as my PA. We're due to follow-up with our MP soon (they advised us to email them again after two months)! Congrats to everyone who is at the finish line.

Got ghost update on the 18th and today. Did anyone else’s IME document expiry adjust to a later date??? Ours used to be May 2023 and now is extended 6 months.

I would reach out to MP again if after 1 month there is no update.

My PA got a ghost update on GCkey, but none from PR tracker (last update on PR tracker is Nov 3)

Not started. GCMS says: Info Sharing in progress (3 out of 4 NRT; 1 out of 4 ready to be assessed), Criminality in progress, Security not started.

That sucks! :( Sorry to hear that. Are you done with info sharing? My PA's eligibility was completed in August '22 and no concrete updates since (just ghost updates)

Hi all. I am sponsoring my spouse and GCMS currently says info sharing is in progress. All but 1 partner status is NRT, while the last one says "Ready to be Assessed". Out of curiosity, does this mean ready to be assessed by the PARTNER or by IRCC?

Sigh, exactly. I wonder if we can share this info that we have now to the MP... and maybe ask them to ask IRCC...
