NDVO staff needs to be fired from their jobs/or life...... i think the job requirements includes to be emotionally dead and -ve empathy with taking pleasure in people pain to be an IRCC -specially family office employee - to keep the family separated and not do their job ..... just venting :(

i checked the new portal it says background eligibility in progress and started on Jan 25 .... my medical was completed Dec 7th ... this seems much slower for us then others. Anyways does anyone have any time line on how much time it takes to complete eligibility check ?

So true brother..... i guess the stress has made so much bad effect on me already ... i am not sure how much more i can take it.... like as you said try to relax and wait for email. will happen when it will... but difficult to do so

I have friends who got approved after SA. The new portal is specially made for such situations for people to apply

Just got the refusal on the visitor vis with generic old 179 b reason. I am devastated. I thought that once you have SA they will approve under family reunification
