AIP just means that you meet the specifications to sponsor or be a principal applicant for the class that you applied in. Even after receiving AIP you still have to meet background check and all other requirements! :)

Hi! We submitted our PR application in July 2020. Currently, his visitor visa expires in October, however because we've submitted for PR does this mean status is implied? Or will we need to try to extend the visitor visa again?
