Why 6 weeks ??

After linking PR card application in CIC it shows submitted only , I have sent photos to Etobicoke IRCC on NOV14-2020, I called IRCC no updates from them till now, So Once Card got approved & Sent - in CIC portal will it show as approved ??( submitted ->Approved)

details of approved /Card sent communication came on email or on CIC portal ??

Etobicoke, Thinking the same planning to wait for a week time when i called Canada post they said it will be in their mail room. I called IRCC they said to wait for one more week from now to see the status
