current status was changed into 'Application/ profile updated'. but when i clicked 'check full application status', the new page reports error 502, bad gateway. when i re-login my gc account, everything is changed back, 'submitted' under 'current status' again. what is that? does it mean anything?

hello guys, i would like to ask that can i defer my intake with a study permit issued already? can i just apply my deferral and then inform IRCC (via webform) about my deferral? i'm not sure if that was ok or should i apply a new study permit instead? thank you.
