Can someone please help us understand what happens in the citizenship processing background that takes such a long time to process the application. Keeping the number of applications aside, its hard to believe that it takes 2-3 months to just acknowledge the application.

Hi, I have applied for Canadian PR and in the final stage. Received a passport request. We are expecting a baby and the delivery will happen in US. The baby will be US citizen and will get US passport. Can the baby enter Canada with us or needs a visa or need to apply for PR for the baby?
