Visitor Visa Approved (Visa Number Generated) but showing Background Verification in Progress.
My passport is submitted to IRCC since 21 May 2025. On online portal, VISA is approved even via number is generated however background check showing 'In Progress'. What does it mean? I think background verification happens before approval and visa number generation. Can any one help? I am... -

I applied for Visitor Visa on 09 May 2025. Given biometrics on 14 May 2025. Got Passport Submission Request on 14 May 2025 Passport Submitted on 16 May 2025 Passport reached IRCC on 21 May 2025 Now, waiting for passport collection. Passport is still at IRCC for processing. Already submitted two...
