    On hindsight I should have looked to see if it was a trusted website, but didnt. It gets a medium score on scam detector. If I would have seen that first, I wouldnt have used it.

    I don't think it has any bearing on the application, apart from getting information tbh. Kinda hoping it has the opposite effect and kick the application into life again, but doubt it. Have done it when I applied for PR as well.

    I applied on the 6th of January. Background check complete April 11th. No test needed as I'm over 55. LPP still outstanding. I'm in Newfoundland.

    My background check was 9th of April. LPP in progress and I don't even need to do the language or test part (over 55). Just have to sit and wait, as the processing time is apparently 13 months.
