Maybe you want to reach out to IRCC. My friend's dependants overseas recently received biometrics correspondence. My friend is August 2023 applicant, so I suppose they still process overseas dependants.- Kabash

Protected Person - Open work permit renewal
Quick question: I applied for work permit renewal on Oct 19th, received extension email on 20th. Can I use the extension letter to extend/renew of Social insurance number or do I just present it to my employer pending approval/issuance of my work permit?- Kabash
