    Thank you for your response. In my case, I haven't renewed it, hoping they'll return my expired one. Why would I want a passport if I don't have residency yet? They have had my passport since 2018 !

    My representative received an email today from IRCC requesting photocopies of the passports of my dependents (my daughter and I) and my husband's marriage certificate. We married in August 2023. Has anyone else had this experience?
