    Hi, I submitted expired passport copy ( current one ) and also submitted PR Visa page stamped in the old passport at the time when I became permanent resident. It was accepted. Also I submitted secondary ID's like d/l , health card, copy of COPR. Hope this helps.

    Once you arrive canada without issues at Port of entry, you need to live in Canada for 2 years for you to renew your PR card. If you arriving Ontario, I would suggest Toronto to be port of entry.
