Thanks. Yeah, it took a year to get my PR and then 2 to get my card. Had to get my MP involved to get the card. Efficiency is definetly not a strong point.- russ6970

Called IRCC (got through in 4 minutes) to ask about my app. They didn't really tell me anything apart from it was still in progress and there were no notes there for me that warranted my attention and to just keep an eye on email. On hindsight I should have looked to see if it was a trusted website, but didnt. It gets a medium score on scam detector. If I would have seen that first, I wouldnt have used it.- russ6970

I don't think it has any bearing on the application, apart from getting information tbh. Kinda hoping it has the opposite effect and kick the application into life again, but doubt it. Have done it when I applied for PR as well.- russ6970

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation. Wonder who handles NL. Probably team 1. Doesn't really apply to me as I didn't need to take the test. All I can say is, I applied on the same date as you and my LPP is still in progress, even though I don't need to do the language test or the citizenship test (55+), so you are well ahead of me.
