    yes fp request june 11, submitted on june 12 and had a ghost update on july 12 followed by an L&p completion on july 15. We are in montreal too. Did your application involve any police certification submission?

    Yes my wife has almost exactly the same timeline. Last update was july 15 when L&P was completed. But her background and prohibitions are still pending.

    No you dont get notified when things like bg, lpp or test marked completed by email. You can check the tracker though

    I have a work trip planned for end of September and i thought I had enough time for that when i applied for citizenship back in march. Now i am only hoping i dont get the oath just before that time else i will have a huge logistical nightmare

    First of all congrats! But silly question here, how do you plan to take that trip on august 20 if your oath is in the same day. If I am not mistaken on the ceremony day, you have to destroy your PR. So until you get your passport, there would be a blackout period of a couple of weeks...
