    No separate letter. 1 letter for the principal applicant and the dependant is mentioned in that letter. Even if it is not mentioned, just upload the same letter for both.

    I went through 2 submissions and in each case selected 2 applicants and submitted 2 packages - 1 for each parent. I had the same doubts. I think VFS is just intentionally keeping it ambiguous so that it can collect double courier fees. I believe as per instructions you can just submit 1 packet...

    @Keyjoe23 , no my parents are not separated. One application is for my parents and another application is for my in-laws. My wife was the sponsor for the other application.

    The security check happens yes, but there is no way to find out when it is completed. Only after the passport request is made, they receive it and stamp it with PR visa, the security checks show up as cleared.

    Can't say for sure. My 1 application was July 21 and it got approved in Jan 2026. The other application was July 27 and it got approved in Apr 2026. But, the biometric and medical request for both were at the same date. They just allowed 1 to expire and had to be redone.

    Seems very similar timelines as a couple of you. My parents application was July 27, 2024. They received Passport request on 8 Apr 2026.

    Does anyone have a copy of what forms are filled at port of entry for landing? I just want to prepare the parents on what paperwork to expect.

    A 2nd pre-arrival for 1 of the applications came on Jan 5, 2026. This was followed by PPR on Jan 16, 2026. Passports have gone for stamping. 2nd application no update after the Nov 8 pre-arrival.

    2 is likely not correct. It should include all the people being sponsored + Sponsor + Co-Sponsor

    You will need to give Biometrics again. The ones for PR cannot reuse the ones from Visitor visa. For linking your application, what is the total number of family members that you are using?
