University undergraduate admission information for a protected person

@steaky As you know, we moved to BC, it wasn't easy financially. He got his admission offer in UofT, however the residence, meal, tuition, flight altogether cost a lot. This is why I am hoping to get domestic fees in UBC as I do not have that much money. Else, he'll have to wait till we get...

University undergraduate admission information for a protected person

Thanks for the reply @canuck78 However my question is, if there's a way. UofT treats students with AIP as domestic, but UBC didn't mention it anywhere on the website. So was trying to find out if anyone has got that with UBC or any other university in BC.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

I moved out of Quebec in Sep 2025. Didn't inform MIFI. However while sending the additional documents after AIP, I informed IRCC, not to send my application to QC as I will be moving out. After I came to BC, I did send a web form and got my province changed.

My friend received AIP in June 2025. Got CSQ already (I believe in couple of months). She got lucky in CSQ. However her AIP took long (more than 4.5 years)

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Not yet, but my friend got medical request in 2 weeks and CSQ forms in a month. They applied in 2021 though. So every case is different. Also, I moved out of Quebec to BC

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

I asked my MP to inquire as it's been 9 months after AIP and this is the response -According to IRCC the assessments for eligibilities, criminalities and medical are in progress and the security clearance has not started. Also, the medical was done for the primary applicant only, dependants are...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Question - In the second stage, does the officer checks all our submissions again to give the final decision or just the checks at the backend matter only? For example, I gave support/volunteer letters from my neighbours and organizations where I used to live earlier and now moved to a different...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Has anyone experienced any discrepancy in logging to pr portal today? I tried to log in with the same email and password that I've been using for the past 3 years and it said that the combination of email/password is incorrect. Also if I click on forgot password, I would get the new...
