Same here. Nothing after biometrics in Nov 2024. They requested an updated IMM5562 (travel history) from me on Feb 11, 2026. Submitted it a couple of days later, and there have been no updates after that.

US Visitor Visa as a Protected Person in Canada

I'm not an expert in this area, but I think there's two parts here; 1 - Do they issue the visa on an RTD that has less than 6 months of validity during the visa appointment? 2 - If yes, then assuming that you're travelling on the same day you get back the visa on RTD, then that might not be...

    2024 PR Application timeline

We are on similar timelines - I too applied in August 2024. Just called IRCC and checked the last notes on the file. They confirmed the last note on my file was from Nov 2024, when the biometrics were updated. No updates/officer notes since then. Hopefully, we are close to getting an update soon.

I think more like we just have to wait 1 more month for the next IRCC processing times update - hoping this timeline from Jan 14 update is accurate and it keeps reducing for all of us and not a one-off gimmick!

RTD travel - Which nationality to select while booking a ticket

Unsure about airside transits in Doha or Dubai. I checked with Etihad and the UAE embassy about international-to-international transit at Abu Dhabi for the Toronto > Abu Dhabi > Chiang Mai return flights. They confirmed that if the connecting flight is within 24 hours, we can do it with RTD...

Protected person Family Applying for B1/B2 USA visa on their Refugee Travel Documents

No, the US does not have airside transit for international-to-international flights. So all passengers arriving from outside the US must go through US Customs and Immigration, collect their bags, clear Customs, and then re-check their bags before getting their connecting flight.
