    That is a super news. Im from August but the style of my ircc portal doesnt show any updates. Maybe because I applied online. I hope my file will move soon. But m happy that other person from August is moving on!

    With these news rules. Your case will be very weak. If you were an activist in your country, for example,and have death threating because of your actvism, could sounds more reasonable, but being here and say that you will be in danger going back home just because you are attheist. Not strong...

    Not the same. Background they made with biometrics. Security, they request info to other countries like New Zealand, Australia, USA ( I forget the others) if you have a criminal file.

    I applied and the officer was really rude and disrespectful with me. Said I can go to USA and remain there. Not good idea I think to apply while Trump is president. The new politics are totally anti immigrant. But you can certainly try. Good luck.
