Thank you, friend! After reading a bunch of posts, I think I should hope for the best here! For some people, it took them a few days or a few weeks to get the new date. For some others, a few months. For 1 person, they said they waited a year :O But it was in 2023 so I hope it is faster now...- novemberrain

Hi all, I have a pre-booked travel back home (Jan 26-Feb 18) and will be in Canada in Feb 19, 2026. I saw in tracker that my oath ceremony will be scheduled for Feb 6, 2026. It seems like a lot of people think that they can take oath online outside of Canada. The answer is NO, haha. When you take oath, they will either take your PR card (in-person oath) or have you cut your PR card in 4 pieces (online oath), so no, you must be in Canada to take the oath.
