    What did you eventually do? Did they send PRC with old legal name on PRC? I am in same boat but will be renewing the PRC now, it's expiring in 3 months. Just need PRC- split name , or same as earlier doesn't matter. I am traveling right after applying.

    I am in similar situation but my priority is to get the PR Card renewed with either of the name. My old Indian Passport has Jon Doe in Given Name, no family name, PRC has John Doe as Family Name and no Given name. Renewed Passport has correct split. PRC expires in July 2026. I complete 730 days...
