LOL - First of all 30/Jun/22 to 8/Jul/23 will be 343 days and secondly divide by 2 happens for days before you became a PR, so you were probably on a TR status during that period- path_to_canada

Because its the US system and not Canadian so implied authorization wouldnt hold. (For example even for accessing CRA account, they take the explicit authorization during application process) were you a cross border commuter or high number of back and forth to the US?- path_to_canada

So median is definitely less than 10 months. Running some hypothetical numbers: assuming the worst case scenarios are at 36 month mark (at which point it is mandamus territory) the average for 80% to be 10 months and rest 20% in 36 months, the overall average would come to around 15 months...- path_to_canada
