I am currently studying in Ontario and my husband lives in Alberta. Should I Apply for Inland (Canada class) or Outland (Family class) sponsorship?

Well... google, chatgpt or a lawyer. Check it out. It's basic that outland and inland are not about the couple living together, but if they are in Canada. I end here. Good luck to the couple.

I am currently studying in Ontario and my husband lives in Alberta. Should I Apply for Inland (Canada class) or Outland (Family class) sponsorship?

Google it: Can I apply inland if my sponsor live in another province? "Yes, you can apply for inland spousal sponsorship even if your sponsor lives in a different province, as long as you and your sponsor are both physically in Canada. The sponsor's province of residence doesn't determine...

I am currently studying in Ontario and my husband lives in Alberta. Should I Apply for Inland (Canada class) or Outland (Family class) sponsorship?

I know a couple where the sponsor was working in Alberta in the oil fields, while the wife was living in Toronto. The husband always returned to Toronto (home) whenever possible. They applied inland because the couple live in canada. The same applies to truck drivers, who may travel for six...

I am currently studying in Ontario and my husband lives in Alberta. Should I Apply for Inland (Canada class) or Outland (Family class) sponsorship?

That's not right. Inland and outland refer to Canada; they have nothing to do with whether the couple is living together or not. This only applies to common-law partners, who are required to cohabit. If the couple is married, they can live in different provinces as long as the reason is well...

Outland is for who is living abroad. You are in Canada, so you can apply inland. I would suggest that you hire a representative to help you with the application. It can be very complex to fill out all the forms and organize the dossier to prove that your relationship is genuine.

March 2025 - Inland Spousal Sponsorship

It’s still too early to have any expectations about the background check. This process can take several months, or even up to 2 years. If you check other threads in this forum, you’ll see that applicants from July 2024 are only now getting their background checks finalized. Some people have been...

Spouse Sponsorship, PA was in lebanese army

Of course, it can be shorter, but it depends on many things like the country, military service, etc. These factors considerably affect the processing time. Be patient, and good luck.

Spouse Sponsorship, PA was in lebanese army

Guys, IRCC won't refuse the application because of your job (unless it's illegal). What might happen is the background check takes longer than usual - around 2 years.

You can access this link and follow the instructions. https://ircc-tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/ For some reason I can only access in one device (my phone). My spouse try from her phone, but does not go through. It says that the UCI or password is wrong. Someone has had the same problem?

Are you sure that you can't apply for Ohip with WP? Since you are already working, you are paying taxes. Does not matter if they will ask or not. You have the reason. I really don't believe that they care to ask why you wanna the letter. Just call Monday and ask. The "no" you already have lol

If you have a representative, IRCC will send it to them. They know that this email is necessary to apply for WP, for instance. You did not share your timeline. This forum is to help and get help.

You can call to the custumer service and ask them to send you the AIP letter. They might assist you with this. Please share your time line here and don't forget to update as soon you have any news from IRCC.

Just grab a beer and relax, buddie. You might need to wait a year to complete your application.

Background check in progress 2-years +

There’s nothing you can do, buddy. For countries where diplomacy with Canada is complex —like China, Russia, etc.—Canada conducts strict background checks to avoid granting permanent residency to spies or any other threat.

Yes, it's possible. Work Permit is not a travel document, so you need a valid ETA or TRV. Check this past debate regarding the meaning...

Well...I would say that these cases are exceptions. Everyone wants a final decision asap, but we need to be realistic based in the most cases. IRCC always plays a random game. Good luck.
