Citizenship application: what employer address, local office or address that's on t4/paystub ?

It's YOUR work history that IRCC asks for, not how your employer deals with CRA. Ignore what's on the T4.

URGENT – Citizenship Application – Mistake in Travel History (Answered “No” but had travel)

Also, I'll add : how you feel about misrepresentation risk is very personal, and how to act to "avoid misrepresentation" is probably something better discussed with a paid lawyer (same answer for all legal advice after all). My answer is more about how to deal with IRCC, and you already had a...

URGENT – Citizenship Application – Mistake in Travel History (Answered “No” but had travel)

Missclicks happen... But people are too eager to submit without reading everything again. For OP, in the order of your questions : 1) probably, but doesn't really matter. Everyone's application is separate. 2) it already affected it obviously, but refusal would be a stretch. If you provide a...

Question About Adding Minor Children Under Section 5(2) to Citizenship Application

A Minor 5(2) application can only be done at the same time as the parent, or once a parent is already a citizen, so no, you can't submit yours first then try to include the kids. It needs to be at the same time. For how to do so, search on YouTube, there are plenty of FAQs for "family Canadian...

Name on PR card different than Passport

Put your real name and move on. If there's a limit on the number of characters in a PR card, the people who actually make that card are aware of it. It won't be a problem.

Use of days as temporary resident for calculation of days: additional documents ?

Yeah, unlike visitors, student or work statuses are usually very straightforward as far as getting credit for pre-PR days. Just make sure the dates you provide in the citizenship application are precise and match the permits you received in the past, but no need for additional documentation for...

Application for Canadian Citizenship - A Comprehensive Guide

Once @armoured 's answer is taken into consideration, and if you wanna proceed: check YouTube. There are plenty on step by step guides there if you search "online Canadian citizenship family application" or something similar.

Optional Documents - Online Citizenship application

If IRCC needs something, they ask for it. Since they don't ask for it in the online application, they don't want it, or at least they don't want it for the vast majority of applicants. Stick with what they ask for and keep it easy for both yourself and the IRCC agent working on your application.

CITIZENSHIP Application Returned -asking to resubmit IELTS proof - Please help

Don't attach it, that's useless. There is no place to add it because the information that pdf would contain is given in its specific section, in a different format. No need to repeat the same info twice.

    Citizenship - Language Proof

You got the answer above, but just to note : the official page does NOT say that. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-citizenship/become-canadian-citizen/eligibility/language-proof.html It merely says that, if the education proof is not in English or...

    2023 Citizenship Applications

Yeah it happens. And shouldn't take too long. A few days to a few weeks. Took roughly a month for my family member's July 2023 application (background in October 2025, prohibition in November, ceremony in December).

    April 2025 - Citizenship Applications

If if matters so much you have to scream in caps lock, well, I have amazing news. You have the option to stay a PR for life. That way you can keep your gold medal and always use it if you want. Just skip the ceremony or go but don't pronounce the oath...

Minor 5(2) application submitted while outside Canada

I can see it happen years from now, when someone in your child's situation will argue that having been naturalized would allow them to transmit the citizenship to their own kid, but retroactively subjecting them to 1095 days of "physical presence" to transmit their citizenship after they went...

Minor 5(2) application submitted while outside Canada

But your child is no longer a PR. By automatically becoming a citizen with the new law, the PR status was terminated on the spot, as a citizen of Canada cannot be a permanent resident. I understand the confusion, but you can absolutely apply for a citizenship certificate for your child, answer...

Completing the residence and tax section for the citizenship application

You can. Some people list absolutely everything, but it's not necessary. As long as you list "significant" statuses, like work or studies visas or anything in places where you lived VS just visited, you're in the clear. Pick the option you're more confortable with and move to the next section.

Got an Action for Physical Presence

You said above that you're "still waiting for AOR", which means IRCC just returned your application without entering it in their system, so nothing to withdraw, you can only submit a new application if I'm not mistaken. So just do that... As for whether you should do it today or once you...
