Stuck in Security Screening for months/years? Let's take action! (Official Petition e-7259)

    >Third, the definition of “skilled workers” is not subjective. Canada’s immigration system uses the noc framework, which clearly defines TEER 0–3 occupations as skilled. Redefining “skilled” as the 75th percentile of a field is simply not how the system operates. Again, that "skilled"...

Stuck in Security Screening for months/years? Let's take action! (Official Petition e-7259)

Why are you using ChatGPT to write simpler responses? Internal security isn't something that needs a lot of explanation or transparency when something has already been flagged as "comprehensive security screening". >What is needed is a process that is fast, accurate, and accountable That's a...

GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

I appreciate the civil discourse! Was just sharing my perspective here - a lot of discussions here leave out the big picture and some views (while not being popular within TFWs and other segments) should be heard too (as they help forming the opinion of why something failed to happen, if it does).

GCMS shows 'Security Screening' and waiting... - let's gather here!

Comprehend the number of those. Would barely make a few thousands. You want to amend something based on that? When, we should be diverting more tax-payer resources towards millions of citizens that actually need them. I'd think that distinction is very clear.

All completed on travker but no ppr and fd

Are you that lazy to start a thread and not even ask a question? You simply stated that you have no PPR or FD.

No citizen would support this, but okay.

Stuck in Security Screening for months/years? Let's take action! (Official Petition e-7259)

    >Also, portraying all applicants in screening as “high-risk profiles” is simply inaccurate. I think you are underestimating just how many criminals are entering Canada through these channels and just HOW MUCH SUPPORT exists for even more stricter assessments. Very few ACTUAL "skilled workers"...

Stuck in Security Screening for months/years? Let's take action! (Official Petition e-7259)

    >checking information against their own databases, which is done very quickly. Fetching data vs inferring data are two different things. Later takes more time. Again, as I said before, a petition by non-citizens that demands expedition when the general sentiment of citizens is completely...

Waiting for PPR more than 5 months

Call IRCC and confirm if they sent a RFV that you missed - if they confirm that they've never sent you a RFV or a PPR letter, there's nothing that you can do there. I understand the "Tracker details", but they aren't materially important here (in context to your CoPR expiry). If you don't have a...

Waiting for PPR more than 5 months

That's not a real concern. No CoPR is issued to you, what you see is a CoPR number, not your CoPR. Unless they sent you a RFV that you missed or a PPR that was never received (apparently confirmed by your MP that it isn't the case) - what's there to worry about?

Waiting for PPR more than 5 months

MP's are only responsible for their constituents, so that was a bit different. Anyways, waiting is all you can do here.

Waiting for PPR more than 5 months

PPR is manually triggered. Weird thing about your post: 1. Mentioning a MP implies you are in-land, there's no PPR for in-land applicants. 2. If you are outland (or even in-land) there's nothing you can do to expedite it.

No BIL after 3 months (Dec AOR) – file seems frozen⁉️

Read the thread I shared. I'm not waiting for BIL or CoPR/eCoPR, I just stated what you should expect, what we've seen with exceptional cases.

Stuck in Security Screening for months/years? Let's take action! (Official Petition e-7259)

You want what as an explanation? You'll only receive responses like "waiting for partner agency to respond" -> how will that solve anything? You'll still be waiting with uncertainity as that "govt body in Iraq" isn't going to be bound to CBSA/CSIS's mandate to respond. Tell me, will some random...

    Start up - Businesses

    >Success will depend on quality, pricing, marketing, and following local regulations. Quite literally not going to be the case. Your business just won't scale as your costs will increase with the number of services you do in a day - making it unscalable and less profitable. You'll then try to...

How feasible is completing PR application by myself?

    >May I ask for any sugestion on how to select the right NOC code, please? I think IRCC suggests 70-80% overlap with what IRCC has listed as responsibilities. Overall, doing your own PR application is pretty straightforward. A lot of people here have done it by themselves.
