You can create your own account each, listing yourself as a principal applicant. But in this case non-accompanying is really a misrepresentation not because your are both in Canada but because your are both creating profiles and demonstrating your intention to apply.
The key thing here is the assumption that the one who posted a question was Indian by origin. And in this case, if he gets a PCC and visits India again, he will need to get a new PCC from India.
@iSaidGoodDay is correct. The PCC from a country of origin or where you stayed 6 months should be issued after you left that country, if you visited it again, even for one day, you will need a new PCC .
Don't panic. Keep some records that you at least tried to settle in Manitoba, like job hunt, etc.
