    hi all, i called ircc today, usually they tell us status of our application and then press 0 for agent. but this time they did not tell me status they just directly transferred my call to an agent.

    Has anyone received their GU before the background check was completed? My homepage and detailed application pages have been updated, but the background check is still in progress. Criminality and info-sharing were completed on Nov 14, 2025.

    i am guessing this based on the new processing time system they introduced. as per last update in oct, they were trying to process Aug applications in 1 month and Sep applications in 3 months.

    a weird thing happened. i used to work at amazon before. I got a OTP that shows someone was trying to login into my amazon work portal. and i got GU on same day. just a coincidence or they do that?
