    First of all congrats! But silly question here, how do you plan to take that trip on august 20 if your oath is in the same day. If I am not mistaken on the ceremony day, you have to destroy your PR. So until you get your passport, there would be a blackout period of a couple of weeks...

    No. Wife has languance and physical presence done recently but her background and prohibitions are still pending. FP request June 11, FP done June 12

    Hey same here. Did you get an fp request? I am only suspecting this happened to me like this because wife had fp request and her bg isnt complete yet. But she also got physical and physical presence done.

    Exact same thing for me. It seems these fingerprints request do delay the process for both applicants? My bg is completed a month ago and nothing since then.

    Congrats! Any idea what is timeframe to get the oath invitation and how much notice normally given to attend the ceremony from date invite sent?
