    There are huge backlogs when it comes to private sponsorship and a reduced quotas so the whole system has slowed down and processing times a very long. As long as processing times are similar to others then I wouldn’t worry.

    Yes there is no issue bringing their home country passports to prove their identities but would not use it for any other purpose. Your children should really be securing study permits. You can only show what you have.
