You are a temporary worker on a closed work permit.
The business that hired you closed down. You need to return home since there is no more work under that employer for you any more (meaning of a close work permit).
I don't see any ground for vulnerable work permit. You were not abused at the...
He still needs to be in Canada to participate the ceremony virtually.
It's serious to lie about the location (pretend that he's inside while outside).
For real, if you want him to be a citizen and live in Canada, it's better to move him here and let him get used to life in Canada when he is...
Not true. You can apply for his citizen with yours. But he needs to be here with you.
How can he enter into Canada without a valid PR card nor meeting his RO? I don't think it's a realistic plan. Why can't he stay in Canada with you and meet RO?
How can he take the Oath with you if he...
He/she is confused with the discussion. SuperMarco is already a PR and has been living outside of Canada and not meeting RO.
So the question is about timeline for PRTD under H&C. NOT the H&C for PR.
You are posting in the wrong section! No wonder you are shock.
PRTD under H&C is a totally different topic and timeline.

He can return to Canada with his US passport. US passport holders do not need eTA.

He needs to pass the medical exam. If he is in remission, he could pass medical.
Yes. the whole family (both parents and dependents (if any)) need to pass medical for the application to be approved.

We did received an invite few years ago. Only mother was in the application.
You don't HAVE to fill in the representative form. BUT if in the future you want to call IRCC about their application, you cannot act as a representative. And so you will only get status update for sponsor and not the applicant.
So it's up to you to decide.
Just to echo on another member's reply.
It's only been only 2 months since you applied. Majority of the applicants take about a year to process.
Social Assistance enquiry is normal process.
Do not stress about it now.
The chance of being picked is not affect by their age. But as they age, the chance of passing medical exams may lower if their health decline.
Good luck for your parents this round. They are still sending invites.
So you are the co-signer for your in-laws under PGP 2024. (your spouse got the invite)
So now you need to have at least 3 (your family) + 2 (your in-laws assuming no children as dependent) + 2 your parents.
That's family income of 7 people. And which year you count 5 and which you count 7, I am...
It doesn't matter how you want to "paint" the picture.
Your physical days in Canada vs USA will tell if you live in Canada or not. IRCC has access to your entry records.
