    "Crime Stoppers" has no legal authority or power to do investigations of any type. It's a non profit organization. The can pass information along to the police, but beyond that they cannot investigate or prosecute anyone or anything. That's entirely up to police (or the equivalent empowered agency).

    If you qualify, apply for the Supervisa. Application cost is the same as a TRV, so even if it's only valid until passport expiry (usually you just bring the old passport with the visa with the new passport), there's no financial difference, plus you don't have to bother with extending stays...
