we did it before applying but you can do it anytime. just visit the approved hospital in your area and ask for canada upfront medical. they will upload everything and give you a copy which you can send via webform- bestofluck

yes, I have seen others getting the same 5 yrs validity. But this is to enter Canada. If you enter after 2 yrs you can stay for 5 yrs and if you enter after 4 yrs, you need to renew passport. After that if you have valid passport apply for 2 yrs extention. So not much to worry- bestofluck

Well It is linked with your passport and UCI number, I forgot to upload my mothers medical form ( in fact it was nowhere asked to upload, thats what I remember) but still it got passed. Processing time updated as 153 days on october 01 is a very long time especially when the purpose of visit depends on the outcome. My suggestion is always collect your passport from VFS for many reasons. Safety of passport, because they have a tie up and daily get many passport delivered safely ( track record) while single passport at your residence becomes a fight between you and courier, if you dont recieve.
