    I had the same thing, you should get the ecertificate email the day after the oath, I was able to download the certificate as soon as I got the email.

    For anybody else that faces this in the future, I received the ecertificate download email the day after the oath and was immediately able to signup, login and download my certificate. My journey is complete.

    I dont think the type of certificate and ceremony are related. You can get either certificate in both types of ceremonies. You can request for a in-person ceremony if you wanted to, oath invite has details on how to do it.
