    If listed as a dependent they qualify as a dependent on your PR application if they remain unmarried and not common law. That said they may be able to obtain PR faster on their own.

    Canada is looking for licensed elementary school and secondary school teachers which requires at least one university degree. You appear to teach music but are not a licensed school teacher. There is a difference.

    Wife visitor visa

    The cash in this case is probably the least significant issue. She needs to prove why she won’t attempt to remain in Canada with her spouse. That is harder to prove.

    Really could use some help

    Rules for Mexican visitors changed since they visited because too many were claiming asylum, trying to enter the US, etc. As long as they have the funds and ties to Mexico their previous visit and return should help their TRV application. They should apply as soon as possible.

    France is an ally country and no fraud concern since no huge upside to moving to Canada. Both lead to faster processing. If you have been living together in Canada another reason for faster processing.
