Can my wife apply for the BOWP as an accompanying spouse in a PR application? (PLEASE HELP!)

If your spouse is in Canada and your score will be reassessed under the cut-off you are taking a huge risk. IRCC is no longer overlooking cases where spouses are in Canada and should be listed as non-accompanying without a very good reason.

Can my wife apply for the BOWP as an accompanying spouse in a PR application? (PLEASE HELP!)

Yes they would qualify for an SOWP but your PR risk being denied given your spouse is in Canada accompanying you. If your score will be reassessed under the cut-off you are taking a big risk having your spouse in Canada unless you have a very good reason they are non-accompanying.

Got ITA , Confused about non-accompanying spouse

You don’t need a medical your spouse does. Would for the request because it is only valid for a year although it can be extended at the discretion of the VO. Read the instructions and submit what proof is listed. Most pay periods are biweekly so not an issue.

    SPOUSE MEDICAL for separated couple

Would send a webform specifically asking if you can remove your spouse and would include proof you already submitted again. Dependents likely all got automatic medical requests. If the answer is no then hopefully your ex is cooperative. Other option is to go ahead with the medical request if you...

    SPOUSE MEDICAL for separated couple

You should ask to remove your ex from the application and would include proof of separation and divorce filing with the request. Hopefully IRCC will remove them.

Dependent minor study permit extension — LOA ended June 2025, what happens now?

Your SP is based on your mother’s PGWP length and approval and not your own studies. The study permit expiry date should coincide on your mother’s PGWP expiry date. Given you submitted the old LOA I would probably send an updated one to avoid any confusion.

    SPOUSE MEDICAL for separated couple

This all depends on whether IRCC allows you to remove your spouse as non-accompanying with proof of separation and divorce. If you provided proof of separation and divorce filing you should not have included as non-accompanying and waited to see if IRCC accepted this.

    Traveling while application being finalized

Some what depends on the timeline of P2 but you can notify IRCC of your travel plans when you receive P1 and request landing after you return.

Dependent minor study permit extension — LOA ended June 2025, what happens now?

Your SP is really dependent on her PGWP not your LOA although since you submitted last year’s you can send in a webform updating your grade 9 LOA.

Dependent minor study permit extension — LOA ended June 2025, what happens now?

So your study permit should be conditional on her PGWP approval and length.

What is your mother’s status and when does it expire? Has she applied for an extension as well? Your status is dependent on her status.

Refugee Travel Document - Questions and Answers

Your RTD is still valid and aren’t a PR so not sure why you would apply again. If you get PR you can you reapply but those are all hypotheticals at this point since you don’t know when you will receive eCOPR. I would only reapply if it makes a difference for entry requirement to a country. If a...
