Visitor Visa for Sister-in-law as my wife is pregnant

You may get a shorter duration TRV which can typically be a few years unless for a special event like a conference. As already indicated how long you can visit Canada and whether you can enter Canada is determined at the border. Given processing times and given precious refusals your SIL will...

    Refugee/asylum claimants 2024 timelines

Not personally but as your lawyer indicated not uncommon. What may appear as a less complex case initially can require a full hearing after evidence is reviewed.

    Guys help advice

Yes you can apply for a TRV from outside Canada. If you have not received the answer for your WP before leaving update your address. You should have a response before you leave.

    Outland Spousal Sponsorship refused

If it’s a remote job a note from your employer isn’t wrong proof of relocation. Can’t hurt but if remote won’t help that much. Staying with your uncle is not very strong proof of relocation either. If you have had a longterm account with TD that also means very little in terms of showing plans...

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

This is a longstanding issue. Has nothing to do with c12.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Don’t think most Americans are in favour of tariffs. Maybe they were before they understood how they worked. We have some border issues/security issues. Certainly not as crazy as Trump makes them out to be but going into talks without having something more in place would just give the US more to...

    Visitor Visa Renewal Rejected

Somewhat depends on your previous and current reason for travel and proposed date. Reapplying right away would likely not give you a lot of time to accumulate more savings. Although you would be the only one traveling you still have a dependent to support.

    Visitor Visa Renewal Rejected

Things like proof of home ownership, long lease, other property ownership might help. If she rents a business space, has employees, etc. all could be additional proof that she should return.

When she can show more funds. Yes you should apply for your sister only but her ties are not that strong either.

Pretty hard to justify going from management to PSW but up to IRCC.

    Visitor Visa Renewal Rejected

It was relatively easy to visit until around 2025. Is your sister your brother’s legal guardian? Is she married ? Does she have children? 11k of liquid personal savings is not enough for 2 people. Your savings don’t really count.

If currently on a WP she would have already done biometrics and wouldn’t need medical. Tough to say if approved or denied. What is her previous education and work history and what HC program did she apply to?

working while PGWP in process (ineligible)

When did you start this new program? Are you sure you didn’t require PAL and a new study permit to start? Are you sure your current study permit is valid? Did you also work illegally while not studying full-time?

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Shocked that the Toronto Sun printed this. Not really an immigrant friendly paper. Also very unlikely to happen. The argument could potentially be made for skills in demand. Would not make sense to start removing doctors & nurses working in the healthcare system in Canada for example.
