    Really depends on your financial situation. If you have 100k+ in savings vs 5k in savings while you’re unemployed the situation is very different. In general it is best to be employed if you are expected to be able to financially support your parents’ visit.

    Loophole meaning they can’t qualify for PR other ways so apply for H&C. In your case if you were a student you likely received PGWP but for whatever reason didn’t qualify for PR via economic pathways which is what the path should/meant to be used by international students.
