    PROOF OF CONTACT

It is in the checklist, the section for relationship proof. Section B, subsection 7, if you read down there is a part 'check here if you answered yes to all four questions.' In the sections above that there are other options of what to provide - just read this section carefully.

Need Advice For A Unique Situation

Personally I think this would be the simplest and cleanest, if they are not in a particular rush. Consider renouncing plus applying anew might take up to ~12 months in most cases - some possibly 18 months. Assuming no significant security or other issues. I'm not sure other approaches would...

    October 2024 - Citizenship Applications

I doubt it will be a problem if your citizenship certificate has it. Again, YMMV. BUT: it's your responsibility to insist on the name you consider you own. If you use some other name, consistently, common law basically will take over under simple principal 'the name you use is your name.'*...

    October 2024 - Citizenship Applications

Generally passport office is totally fine with dropping middle neames, esp if you have other docs without them. Just ask. YMMV of course but I had no trouble with this ages ago and renewing etc.

I refer to the website as Xitter (choose your own pronunciation), so I propose "Xarted" in place of tweeted.

Outland - Canadian Citizen + Aussie sponsorship

I'd add only: if you do decide to get married, it does make sense to do it before applying - only because it makes the officer's job easier (common law requires a bit of judgment/subjective analysis). That said, not a big difference. And shouldn't make any difference to speak of in your case...

Or it could be that all or most offices are 'processed' by Vancouver at the background/security stage, and so it's not "Vancouver" that is prone to delays, but the background/security clearances. See here...

Is your application being processed by an office outside Canada? (required)

What are you asking exactly? You have a communication that specifically states which office. Are you not clear whether that office is in Canada? The kumbaya maxim is that no question is stupid. But this seems to be testing the limits of that.

SINP Residency and University outside of SK

Sounds like you're looking for a different answer than the one's you've got. So to state it expiclitly: I've nothing to add, and no major disagreement. If you don't want to settle in SK, don't do PR through their provincial program.

TRV then PR PPR - Help Pls

I don't think that's true - although applicants from ETA countries may not get separate visas. But even if it is true - why does it matter?

Shortfall ~50 days in Residency obligation

If you're out of compliance and need to travel, each time you cross the port of entry you are taking a risk. After getting a warning, more so. If you have family or job obligations that take you abroad - more risk and may not be compatible with need to limit travel. Eventually your PR card will...

Shortfall ~50 days in Residency obligation

Answer: yes, there could be, but with small shortfall, more likely to be something like a warning. BUT: you may find that being out of compliance is a problem, and limits your ability to travel, etc. Perhaps of more specific importance, depending on circumstances - if the rest of your family...
