    Quebec stuck spousal sponsorship

You are essentially waiting your turn for landing as GCMS notes suggest. There is always a PR quota/target even for spousal sponsorship especially for Quebec. When did you apply for sponsorship? Would look at posts under Quebec immigration for other’s timelines but it tends to be years.

PR application under Protected Person Class in Canada 2024-2025

The processing time has also increased significantly since it was introduced. It is not fast just faster. Most do not qualify for the program so doesn’t have a huge impact.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Yes many are already waiting around a year to get PR after AIP which could get longer.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

Was never meant to be the safety valve for failed asylum seekers or even those with children who are out of status. It was meant for exceptional cases within these types of groups. Many were able to file asylum claims without grounds and then wait it out until they received H&C and keep getting...

    Urgent OINP form

Think the purpose of the question is to determine if you are applying to another province specific program which you are. Better to be overly cautious and say yes and specify what program.

    Urgent OINP form

Would answer yes and include an explanation. That is the safest thing to do.

Same sex conjugal partner PR application refused - 2nd time

Sad that it appears as though the 5.5 months on living together may not have been mentioned in the interview. Assume you have other proof of conjugal relationship like being on an insurance policy, some joint funds or proof of financial support, etc.

    Visa refusal can change?

    Yes they could change it.

Extremely variable and may also depend on why the hearing was postponed.

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

There is one person who has created probably 50 accounts at this point. They have multiple fake ones going at the same time currently.

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

49 months doesn’t exist? Would guess that more recent applicants are looking at processing times around that. Also assume Quebec is included in that timeline.

2023 PR Applications Timeline (Protected Persons & Refugees)

Still too early for a writ of mandamus.

Expired PR, Residency obligations not met

In their case I would probably consider including proof that they are now settling permanently in Canada.

Study Permit Applicants 2025 (September intake)

Is she doing at least doing a bachelor’s degree? Masters? She can’t submit Duolingo to IRCC she needs other testing like IELTS if a language test is required. Parents are not considered a tie to return home.

Visitor visa application with existing working visa

Could be a problem because your previous attempt to move to Canada and the fact that you are trying to visit a partner. Nobody can determine whether you will be approved or not. Do you have a valid TRV already and when does it expire?

    Super visa and lost job.

Really depends on your financial situation. If you have 100k+ in savings vs 5k in savings while you’re unemployed the situation is very different. In general it is best to be employed if you are expected to be able to financially support your parents’ visit.

PRTD or wait for PR card

Tough to comment without knowing your return date.

H&C Humanitarian Ground with/or Without Failed refugee claim

As I have been saying the math doesn’t math. Instead of adding to the backlog IRCC needs to reform the program to limit who qualifies to apply. That is the only way to start tackling this mess.

Should I make an asylum application or a 'Humanitarian & Compassionate' application?

Lack of job opportunities have never been grounds for asylum. You need to show proof of personal persecution, that your life is at risk, etc. You may have grounds for H&C but without additional details it is very hard to comment. You should be meeting with lawyers to see if they feel like you...
